If you'd have asked me as a young child, I probably would have said teacher - my favourite game was lining all my teddies and dolls up on my bed, and teaching them! But it's the one job I've never done. I've been in roles where training has been an aspect of the role, but never actually teaching.

I have had a portfolio career all my life, I have so many interests and ideas, I can start a business in a day, run it for a year, and then move onto something else; or seamlessly move from role to role. And I think this is a strength that has been developed precisely because I haven't become an expert in anything - I have a wide range of experience that I can bring to enhance any role.

I'm 58 and there is no sign yet of me deciding what I want to be when I grow up!
