Where I work, they have a monthly presentation of problems/actions/data to the directors. It used to be in person, now moved to Microsoft teams. And because arranging/inviting/ attending meetings online is easier, they have arranged another meeting which happens the day before the presentation - a meeting to talk about what they are going to talk about in the presentation! You could cut all the meetings by 50% and productivity would sky-rocket. Me, I'm too busy working to attend meetings!
